Our beautiful journey began in 2019 in a quaint area of Somerset West, Paardevlei, South Africa. This was a special project that I shared with my husband. It was our biggest dream to create a place combined with all the elements we adore about a spa. As a mom of 2 children I understand the pressures, demands and non stop rush that life presents. Our mission was to create a space where one can escape for an hour or two for some much needed “me time” or even a long overdue catch up with a friend. A space that offers relaxation and tranquillity in luxury style, just to take a breather from our day to day rush but still be in time to do the afternoon pick ups.

– and so Nuūdo was born. I am often asked what Nuūdo means… Simply put, Nuudo stands for “Nude” in Japanese. I loved the raw, yet freshness of Nude.
